Generation Solutions has just opened GS Medical Supply Store on Langhorne Road in Lynchburg. We were honored to have Mayor Joan Foster as well as former Mayor Pete Warren attend our open house. Even Dorothy made the trip from Kansas to sing! We hope you enjoy this video of the ribbon cutting ceremony!

Age Wave Event with Generation Solutions
Generation Solutions was a proud sponsor of the recent "Age Wave" event in Lynchburg. Participants enjoyed the keynote speaker, Barbara McVicker. As author of the book Stuck in the Middle, a collection of stories about caregiving and the "sandwich generation", Barbara spoke from her experiences taking care of her own parents for ten years, as well as the impact caregiving has on the workforce from a corporate human resources perspective.

Butterfly Release at Awareness Garden
Generation Solutions was one of the proud sponsors of the Butterfly Release held at the Awareness Garden off Langhorne Road. The Awareness Garden honors the families and caregivers whose lives have been touched by cancer. We were blessed with beautiful weather for the Butterfly Release, and we hope you enjoy these pictures from the event.

Here are pictures from our recent Healthy Living Event at Lakewood Baptist Church. Pictured above from left to right: Jean Jamison, LBC group leader, Temika Younger, Tracey Davis, and Abby Holbrook of Generation Solutions. Enjoy the pictures!
Temika Younger talks about healthy living through healthy eating.
Once again, Smoothie King of Lynchburg provided healthy smoothie samples to everyone in attendance!
Mmmmmm good!

Here is Tracey with the grand prize for one lucky person - a lovely magazine on gardening (above) and a nifty growing kit (pictured below).
We want to thank Jean Jamison and the great folks at Lakewood Baptist Church for being such great hosts to Generation Community!
